God is faithful in answering our prayers, He never fails on His promises. Due to your prayers, my family and church members are safe and sound. There are many tropical diseases around us, but the Lord is keeping us safe.
Our weekly programs are continuing regularly, including Bible study, prayer meetings, and worship services. Though we are not able to freely travel and visit everywhere, I am doing my best to reach new people around us with gospel tracts and evangelism. I met some people during my outreach, among them was Maung Aye Chan, a young man who was interested and listened to my sharing very intently. After I had several conversations with him, he accepted Jesus Christ as his own Savior and Lord. Praise the Lord.

As we are encountering political and economic crises, the prices of things are increasing almost every day. This inflation has affected my church members and the people around us; many are jobless and so have no income. There are a lot of robbers, thieves, and pickpockets everywhere. Pray for the Lord to protect us from evil all day and night. I also request your prayers for my church members. Some have only enough to obtain one meal in a day, and some are eating only porridge. Therefore, we are in great need of your prayer help.
- Give thanks to God for the conversion of Maung Aye Chan and pray that he may grow in the knowledge of God.
- Give thanks to God for our weekly services.
- Pray for more doors to be opened by the Lord for me to share the gospel message with new people.
- Pray for our country, that all the violence and fighting may cease soon and that we may have freedom and peace.
Maung Law Tam’s testimony

I was born to a so-called Roman Catholic family in 1997 at Midat township, Southern Chin State, upper Myanmar. My father had two wives, Daw Om Zuan and Daw Ha Om. My mother is Daw Om Zuan, she has eleven children, and Daw Ha Om has seven children. So I have lots of brothers and sisters. Among them, there are more girls then boys. According to our tribe, from tradition, men can have up to three wives. Even nowadays, many men have more than one wife. My parents are cultivators. As a big family, my parents are working hard to support our daily food and education programs.
I was growing up in such an ungodly family. I used to enjoy drinking with my young friends. One day a preacher came and preached the gospel to our village. I joined the teaching about salvation for two days. The preacher taught us about sin, and why Jesus Christ died for us, those who believed in Him have eternal life, which is a gift, etc., and I was touched and converted to Christ. After reading several books of the New Testament, I felt that I needed to preach the gospel of salvation to those who did not know it. When I read 2 Timothy 4:2, “preach the word in season and out of season..”. I decided to serve God throughout my life. My prayer is fulfilled by God when I joined the Biblical Institute of Theology in June 2016, and I graduated in February 2020. Praise the Lord. Now I am preparing for church planting ministry nearby Yangon City. My Principal Rev. Dr. Thawng Nei Bil had advised me to start a church planting at Wat-in-poh village, Hlegu township, Yangon division, where about 1500 people and about 1000 war refugees are living. Therefore, please pray for me that I may serve as a church planter from 2021.
