Updated Photos of the Recent Classrooms Construction
Education of Elementary school children will give them the tools to read and study the Bible in ways only imagined by their parents. In essence, we can engage the next generation to reach new heights in the leadership of the local churches.
Our local construction team built a three classroom block, and we are completing a five classroom block by October 2020. The new target is to raise $50,000 to add an additional toilet facility and a covered dining area with a kitchen. These new buildings will be placed on the existing property just next to the already built brick classrooms. We will also include water harvesting tanks that gather rain to be used by the school and local neighbors.
These projects also support members of the local churches in Rukungiri. The Construction projects provide jobs giving them a consistent salary to support their families with food and supplies. Through White Fields, Poverty Solutions training programs, masons, and welders in the churches now have skills to use in construction. The whole development project is opening the door to share the gospel as neighbors observe the transformation godly living makes in these families.
This building project provides church members jobs to feed their family, donate, and be generous to their neighbors.
