Education in reading, math, and writing, combined with biblical principles, will develop a strong foundation in the next generation’s leadership of the church.
School Athletics Field
The soccer team, known as “Football” in Uganda, is having a great time training and engaging students in a favorite sport.

Children growing up with consistent education in Language Arts, Science, and Mathematics, along with strong biblical principles, will become excellent leaders for the communities of Rukungiri, Uganda.

On the Playground or In the Classroom
Students are receiving a highly acclaimed education at Graceland School. Students from their village will grow in knowledge and strength so they can return to their community and provide leadership, ministering to their neighbors. Education is a tremendous boost to help communities rise out of poverty and the spiritual darkness that plagues them.

You Can Provide a Scholarship to Bring Students Into the Educational Environment
Our churches are located far out in remote villages. Our pastors proclaim the gospel, begin discipling families, and provide a rudimentary education for children. When we have a scholarship available, the Graceland Administrators can rely on recommendations from our pastors to identify the best student to bring to Graceland. In this way, the highest motivated students are enrolled in school first.

Graceland Officially Commissioned by President Museveni
Graceland has been commissioned by the President of Uganda. We are encouraged that test scores and educational quality are reaching the highest levels. The students of our White Fields pastors and the children from the village churches will grow up to have a tremendous impact on improving their communities.

The New Classrooms are Finished and Being Used.

In the USA, governments spend large sums on education. School is mandatory in all our States. In other countries, governments do not have the budget to fund children’s education. Their economies do not produce enough tax dollars to provide quality education. That is why the responsibility falls with the church to educate children. Our goal with Graceland School is to provide a Christian, Biblically Based education that rises to the highest standard and serves as an example of the value of educating children. We need your help to raise the next generation of leaders.

Your support can improve the quality of Graceland School’s facilities. We plan to build a permanent structure with classrooms and move the students out of the wood-slat/dirt-floor classrooms. Click here to see the beginnings of building the classrooms. The buildings will also allow an exceptional atmosphere for library books and study rooms.
Consider Supporting Our Future Projects
In December 2020, we finished the second classroom block. That will provide eight permanent brick classrooms. In addition, we have several medium-sized projects that you might consider supporting.
Several Projects have been completed in the past two years
- A Well to provide a continuous Water Source. More Water Storage for Kitchen $4,500
- Additional Bathroom Facilities – Four Stall Brick Building $8,000
- Kitchen Facility with Rocket Stoves, Water Collection, and Storage – $12,000

Projects Still on our List
- A Covered Open-Air Cafeteria Patio – Concrete Patio with Roof for $10,000
- A Grass, well-graded Playing Field for Soccer and outdoor games with a retaining wall for $5,000
Our next major building project will be the two-story Dormitories, which will house 100 boys and 100 girls. After that project, we plan to build permanent preschool classrooms, followed by an Administrative Block including a Library, Reception Hall, Headmaster’s Office, Teacher’s Offices, Board Room, and Parent-Teacher Conference rooms. We also intend to have an upper open-air deck for students to sit, study, and read books.
We are Gathering Children’s Literature for the Library
The Cargo Container near our offices in San Diego has been shipped, and all the books are loaded on the library shelves.

We hope to have History Books, Young Readers’ Books, Science Texts, Bible Story Books, and all sorts of books that will help our young students become explorers. We hope to have a library that will launch these children into the imaginations that will transform their communities. Call our office if you have material to add to that container (760) 846-8610 – or email info@whitefields.org
