Meet the Staff of Healing Grace Medical Center
Dr. Emmanuel Kyobe
Dr. Kyobe is a medical doctor. He is twenty-seven and not yet married. Emmanuel lives with his father in the Kawanda/Wakiso district. He completed elementary school at Volcanic Academy Kampala and went to Uganda Namugongo for secondary school. The following year he studied human medicine at the Gulu University.
Emmanuel was born into a family where his father was a Catholic and his mother was Anglican. According to Emmanuel, he did not belong to either religion; he always wanted a church that would help him understand God’s Word in more depth. His prayers were answered thirteen years ago through an open-door crusade. He gave his life to Christ and then started to study the Word of God and understand it. Emmanuel testifies that he used to live in great fear due to nightmares and strange voices.
Yes and I will rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
Philippians 1:19
Susan Komukama
Susan is a midwife; she is single and in her mid-twenties. She is living with her parents in the village known as Rwerere in the Nyakagyeme sub-county Rukungiri district. She studied at the Rwerere primary school and attended the secondary school at Bishop college. Susan finished her advanced education at Kibibi secondary school and then joined the School of Comprehensive Nursing in Kabale district. Susan was awarded a certificate in midwifery upon the completion of her studies.
Susan came to Christ just over ten years ago when she was in Senior two at the school’s organized retreat. Since then, she has been walking with the Lord. Susan testifies that the Lord delivered her from a short-tempered character, lack of sleep, and so much worry that she sometimes stayed awake for the whole night.
Jonathan Nankunda
Jonathan is a lab technician at the Healing Grace Medical Center. He is single, in his mid-twenties, and was born in the Rukungiri area. Jonathon studied at the primary community school and then attended secondary school. He completed his advanced level certificate from the Makobore High School and finished obtaining his medical laboratory certificate at the Jinja medical lab training school.
Jonathan shared his testimony; he came to faith three years ago when the door-to-door evangelism team found him at this house and shared the gospel. The Lord delivered Jonathan from the spirit of isolation and depression; before he came to Christ, he would rarely associate with people at all and enjoyed being alone. After giving his life to Christ, Jonathan now finds it necessary to interact with friends and share the Word of God.
Patience Aineomugisha
Patience is a midwife in her early thirties; she is married with two children in kindergarten. Her family is staying in the Kabura village. Patience studied in the Kisizi primary school and then joined the secondary school in the immaculate heart, where she completed her studies in Senior Four. The following year, she joined the Kisizi hospital school of nursing and midwifery, graduating with a midwifery certificate eight years ago.
Patience came to faith while in primary school through an open-air crusade in their school compound. The preacher mentioned that stealing was a sin that leads to death. Because of Patience’s stealing habits, when she heard this information, she became scared and did not want to die so she committed her life to Christ. Patience testifies that the Lord also delivered her from the spirit of unforgiveness and short temper after she accepted Jesus Christ.
