Pastor Gabon’s Testimony
After my conversion, I became active in my home church d oing ministry; such as evangelism, bible studies, and I participated in youth activities. One day during our fellowship we were going to do a personal devotion and I meditated in the passage of Acts 1:8 says; “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” From that passage, I was fully convinced that the work of the Lord is huge and I felt that God was calling me to be a witness of his wonderful word of life. I shared with the church leaders to do more for the Lord and they prayed for me. Eight months later, with the advice and support of the church, I decided to go to the Bible College to further my training and preparation for the ministry that God called me to do, which was in the year 2000. After I graduated from the Bible School, I was privileged to work at one of the Christian companies whose mission is to help people in all aspects of life. I thank the Lord for almost ten years of experience working in the community as minister of the gospel and I was able to plant a church by God’s grace. Joy, excitement, and God’s calling is the reason why I keep doing God’s ministry; I find so much meaning and fulfillment in serving the Lord. I praise God for how he uses other people and circumstances to equip and prepare for me to do even more for His kingdom purposes.

Praise the Lord for this opportunity for our young people to take part in selling goods so they can have money for youth gatherings and other weekly ministry efforts to reach young people in various villages. They want to keep connecting with and evangelizing their friends by going to their homes. The message they want to spread in the community is “Hope out loud!” Even the products they sold were designed for these endeavors.
Pray for spiritual growth and courage to share their faith in Jesus boldly. Pray for God’s strength as they face persecution among members of the family. Pray for the salvation of their families. Pray for wisdom to understand God’s Word through equipping. Pray for the salvation of those we invite. Pray for more contacts as we intentionally build relationships with the community. Embracing Hope: A Christmas Celebration of Faith, Blessings, and Community
Indeed, Christmas carries profound historical and religious significance for millions across the globe, symbolizing the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, whom Christians regard as the Son of God and the Savior of humanity. The narrative of Jesus’ birth, central to the Christian faith, is vividly portrayed in the Gospels. Hope emerges as a main theme during the Christmas season, embodying the fulfillment of God’s promise to send a Messiah, bringing salvation and hope to the world through the birth of Jesus. The tradition of gift-giving is often viewed as a reflection of the Wise Men presenting gifts to the infant Jesus and the ultimate gift of the Son, Jesus, bestowed by the Father upon us. This Christmas, our Church aspired to bless our community by inviting them to one of our Sunday services, allowing them to hear the message of Hope at Christmas. Praise God for the response; twenty joined our Sunday gathering. Simultaneously, we present our baptism candidates to the congregation, sharing their stories of finding hope in Jesus. Christmas serves as a poignant reminder of the spiritual and moral values held dear by many, encouraging acts of kindness, generosity, and compassion. Whether celebrated as a religious observance or a cultural tradition, Christmas profoundly impacts individuals and communities, fostering a sense of hope, love, and connection beyond the holiday season.
Youth Harmony for a Cause
It is genuinely heartening to observe the youth of our community uniting for a meaningful and historic initiative as the year ends. Their endeavor to coordinate a project, caroling for a cause, reflects a profound sense of purpose and dedication to supporting various aspects of our ministry. Directing the proceeds towards vital areas such as feeding programs and the music ministry highlights their awareness of community needs. It demonstrates a comprehensive approach to uplifting our church. By acknowledging the significance of these ministries, the youth embody the spirit of service and devotion to a higher purpose. The concept of praising God through their musical talents is a beautiful way not only to spread joy but also to connect with the divine. Music uniquely uplifts spirits and fosters community, making it an excellent tool for promoting unity and shared purpose within the church. Moreover, their intention to actively engage in the children’s ministry is commendable. This choice reflects a commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth and well-being of the younger members of our congregation. By actively participating in the children’s ministry, the youth are addressing the church’s current needs and investing in its future. Combining musical expression and active involvement in various ministries illustrates a well-rounded approach to serving God and the community. These young individuals are not merely envisioning change; they are actively working towards it, and their commitment is inspiring and deeply impactful. As we approach the end of the year, let us celebrate and support these youths who are leaving a lasting impact through their visionary and purpose-driven endeavors. May their actions inspire others to join in the spirit of service and unity, creating a legacy of love, compassion, and devotion within our church and community.
Harmony for Hope: Nurturing Young Hearts in the Spirit of Christmas
It is heartening to witness the ongoing ministry dedicated to children in our area, especially during the festive Christmas season. With its unique ability to bring joy and create lasting memories, music provides a beautiful experience for these children. The hope that these children will positively influence their surroundings and evolve into ambassadors of love for future generations is profound and forward-thinking. Nurturing their spirits through music and fostering a sense of community and compassion contributes to shaping a future where love and care are fundamental values. As these children grow and carry the Christmas spirit and lessons from the ministry into adulthood, they hold the potential to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Becoming ambassadors of love for the next generation embodies a beautiful vision for a better and more compassionate world. Initiatives like these enable communities to sow the seeds of positive change, leaving a legacy of kindness and unity for generations to come. May the ministry for these children continue to thrive and may the impact of these experiences resonate through the lives of these children and the communities they touch.

“Growing together in unity” is the theme of Bridge Community Fellowship’s celebration for their second anniversary. We give thanks for God’s steadfast love for the people of Bridge Community Fellowship. The church members were enthusiastic and motivated as they made preparations. The congregants see this event as a turning point in their relationship with God as they continue to work cooperatively for His honor and glory.
The celebration was jam-packed with enjoyment, treasured memories, trials counting it as part of training, and so forth. Meetings every Friday are the support groups designed to make a memorable impact through leadership and teaching strategies. Our church leaders and ministry team leaders are learning how to develop their skills of listening, the art of communicating, and coaching in the process of spiritual growth. We had an important time of discussion with them, sharing varying degrees of difficulties and challenges in the field of ministry. Knowing that our God is working in unexpected ways gives each of us comfort and encouragement at the same time. This time, the focus of the class is more on how to see and understand our hearts as a group, while also being open to how we feel about our ministry experience.
We praise God because everyone felt safe and comfortable to open up. We are grateful for an authentic community where everyone is safe to unload their struggles. I have discovered that support groups are vital in any organization or church. We are thankful to God for this group for men and women who have big hearts for Him and His Kingdom.
- Pray for wisdom as the leaders prepare to lead the small groups.
- Pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit.
- Pray that the volunteers will enjoy their Christian walk and grow in their service to God.
- Pray for spiritual growth in the lives of these obedient people.
