I would like to start this report with great appreciation to our Lord Jesus Christ who gave His life to settle our salvation. I would like to share with you about a woman who has been part of this church. She has four children; three of them are already settled down and have their own family. Her youngest still lives with her. They are very faithful to the ministry, the mother is very active in evangelism and her son is also very active in helping church activities, Bible studies, prayer meetings, and other important ministry programs. Their contribution in the church through prayers, and moral and financial support, are great factors that contributed to church growth and development. We extended a great appreciation to this family because of their shared effort.
- Help us pray that the Lord will continue to use them; that the will of God would be done for the advancement of the Kingdom. Please pray for their health, for safety, for divine provision both physically and spiritually. Help us also pray for their livelihood where it can meet their daily needs and also for church ministry.
I would also like to report about a special activity that I have been involved with. On the island of Negros (composed of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental areas), pastors within this area have organized the Philippines Nation Police (PNP) Inter-faith organization in Region 6 to conduct values information in different cities and municipalities within our police forces. As a member of PNP Inter-faith organization, I was assigned with the task and responsibility to share Christian values with our local policemen in our municipalities. It has been a great privilege to share the Gospel with them and to make the Gospel known to our armed men. They are humans who have souls and need salvation. They are stewards of peace and order, assigned by God. We, as pastors, are stewards of the Gospel of Christ, also assigned by God.
- Help us pray that this program and the activities held in our police force will be victorious, fruitful, and successful. Please also pray for their character, that they will be faithful and honest to their duties and obligations to our country. Most of all, pray that their souls will be secured in salvation through Jesus Christ.
In December, our hope and prayer is to transfer to our new church building, God willing. At this time, we are lacking building materials for the roof and floor, and are waiting for the grace of God. All these materials are in the hands of the Lord.
- Help us pray that the Lord will grant our request to transfer to the new building and also pray for the provision to finish the building.
- Also please pray for the church members, as they continue to contribute their time, labor, and contribute what they can financially to help make this church building possible.
God bless!
Pastor Silas
