Education in reading, math, and writing, combined with biblical principles,
will develop a strong foundation
in the next generation’s leadership of the church.
School Athletics Field for the Kids to Play in Under Construction
The area in the picture below will be cleared, leveled, and sodded into an athletic field for the Graceland School students. As there is not a field or park within walking distance, this will serve as a safe, polished area for students to play sports and have fun.
The immediate steps to transforming this area into a field include removing tree stumps and roots. Partners who donated to the Poverty Solutions fund provided a walk-behind tractor to plow and till the land. In the future, this tractor will be used to till other fields for window who use vegetation sales as income.
Once this is done, we can place sod, and the area will be a athletic field! We will host outreach events such as soccer games to engage with the non-believing community and share the gospel. You can donate to Graceland School to help us prepare this field.
Keep checking back for photos as we make progress. Please be praying for our team.

On the Playground or In the Classroom
Students are receiving a highly acclaimed education at Graceland School. Students attending from their village will grow in knowledge and strength so they can go back to their community and provide leadership to minister to their neighbors. Education is a tremendous boost to help communities rise out of poverty and the spiritual darkness that plagues them.
You Can Provide the Scholarship to Bring Students Into the Educational Environment
Our churches are located far out in remote villages. Our pastors proclaim the gospel and begin to disciple families and give a rudimentary education to children. When we have a scholarship available, the Graceland Administrators can rely upon the recommendations from our pastors for the best student to bring to Graceland. In this way, the highest motivated students are enrolled in school first.

The New Classrooms are Finished and Being Used.
In the USA, governments spend large amounts of funds on education. School is mandatory in all our States. In other countries, governments do not possess the budget money to spend on the education of children. Their economies do not produce enough tax dollars to provide quality education. That is why the responsibility settles with the church to educate children. Our goal with Graceland School is to provide a Christian, Biblically-based education that rises to the highest standard and will become an example of the value of educating children. We need your help to raise the next generation of leaders.
Your support can improve the quality of the facilities of Graceland School. We plan to build a permanent structure of classrooms and move the students out of the wood slat/dirt floor classrooms. Click here to see the beginnings of building the classrooms. The buildings will also allow an exceptional atmosphere for library books and study rooms.
Consider Supporting our Future Projects
In December 2020, we finished the second classroom block. That will provide eight permanent brick classrooms. In addition, we have several medium-sized projects that you might consider supporting.
Several Projects have been completed in the past two years
- A Well to provide a continuous Water Source. More Water Storage for Kitchen $4,500
- Additional Bathroom Facilities – Four Stall Brick Building $8,000
- Kitchen Facility with Rocket Stoves, Water Collection, and Storage – $12,000
Projects Still on our List
- A Covered Open-Air Cafeteria Patio – Concrete Patio with Roof for $10,000
- A Grass, well-graded Playing Field for Soccer and outdoor games with a retaining wall for $5,000
Our next major building project will be the two-story Dormitories that will house one hundred boys and another one to house one hundred girls. After that project, we plan to build permanent preschool classrooms and then an Administrative Block including a Library, Reception Hall, Headmaster’s Office, Teacher’s Offices, Board Room, and Parent-Teacher Conference rooms. We also intend to have an upper open-air deck for students to sit, study and read books.
We are Gathering Children’s Literature for the Library
We have a Cargo Container near our offices in San Diego. Our goal is to fill that container over the next five months with Theology Books for the Uganda Bible College Library and Children’s literature for Graceland School Library.
We hope to have – History Books – Young Readers’ Books – Science Texts – Bible Story Books, and all sorts of books that would grow our young students into explorers. We hope to have a library that will launch these children into the imaginations that cause them to transform their communities. Call our office if you have material to add to that container (760) 846-8610 – or email info@whitefields.org

Consider Joining a Short-Term Team to Visit the School
Following the Corona-Virus Lockdowns and restrictions, we will schedule a Short-Term trip to minister at the Graceland Elementary School. The trip is an opportunity for school teachers to use their giftedness among the students and enjoy fellowship among the faculty to share ideas and educational skills.
