One of the most compelling facts about the state of present-day Christianity is that it is growing by leaps and bounds in the third world. A growing number of observers clearly recognize, for example, the fact of the explosion of the church in the poorest continent on earth: Africa. For example, Drs. Mark Shaw and Steve Morad of Africa International University, Nairobi, Kenya, concurred in a slightly dated documentary by the Africa Inland Mission (AIM), that the African Church might be the most dynamic church in the world today (Leadership Development: Africa Inland Mission CD, 2003).

Moving Forward
The methodology of White Fields causes us to always look for the next village to plant a church. Our team on the ground analyzes how to move us toward the farthest fringe where people do not have a witness for the gospel. The local leadership finds the avenue to introduce the gospel to these needy people.

New Methods
During these times of lockdowns and government quarantine restrictions, the ministry of the pastors supported by White Fields has not slowed down or diminished. Instead, it has intensified and taken on whole new aspects for ministry.
I have chosen highlights from eight pastors out of the fifty we support to show you how God is moving. Our pastors are serving their communities in brand new ways. There is also a fantastic response to the gospel by people in touch with our churches.

During these trying times, our pastors are diligently ministering to the needy in their communities. The demonstration of their faith in action to the impoverished and helpless has a dramatic influence on the lives of people watching. Myanmar pastors are delivering some rice, some vegetables and, cooking oil. These people are delighted, says our Field Director, because they did not receive any help from the government or other organizations. The distribution of the gifts has caused people to give praise to God almighty who created everything. They know the pastors live very meager, the people see our pastors living without much themselves, and yet they are giving these gifts to them.
