We have come so far already. Thanks to our generous partners, including — Help From Above, Cup of Water, and Kenyon Plastering — The Property was purchased, the buildings are finished, and the staff is in place. The Medical Center will provide care to the people in all the surrounding villages.

Do You See?
Each person has a unique ability to observe the same scene and see different things. The question comes for those who know Jesus Christ, do you know what God wants you to see? We might also ask this question, when we see something, do we see the opportunity or just the problem?

Poverty Solutions-Update

Part of our comprehensive approach to transforming communities around the world is to come alongside church members and give them the means to become producers and lift themselves out of poverty. We believe that work is good, that it restores dignity, and that it is God’s plan for humans to work.
Recent Ministry
We give thanks for your support in doing God’s work and teaching people to overcome poverty through raising pigs and growing fruits, which generate income for our church members. May God bless you.
We continue to preach the gospel through home visits and by building strong relationships between families and our church. James is a man who opened his heart to the Lord after his family received a pig. He thanks the church that gave him the foundation for a source of income, which will help him to start paying the school fees for his children.

Over seventy family beneficiaries have seen an improvement in their lifestyle through the Poverty Solutions program. They have paid school fees for their children and paid off their debts through the sale of piglets.
Steven, Tobias, and Annah all managed to renovate and improve their houses. Annah sold the mother pig to get money to upgrade her house and bought a piglet to replace the older one. Moderate and Johnson started grocery shops to supply common household items like food and salt. The rest of the beneficiaries have seen great improvement in their soil quality through applying the manure collected from their piggery shades. These are only a few of the stories of the success and power of the poverty solutions program. It has indeed been a blessing to the families and our communities as a whole.
Some of the challenges we face include the increase in all food prices. This inflation has also affected the mash prices which has been a challenge to our farmers. We are praying that we can find a machine to start producing our own feeds to offer to the farmers at a lower price. Also, if we can produce our own feed then we can produce pigs of better quality because the feeding mash available is poor quality, yet expensive.
The east coast fever for pigs has been detected in our area so the government put a ban on all sales of pigs or their movements until the fever is cleared. Pray that the Lord will heal our land.
Poverty Solutions not only deals in piggery but also produces fruits like papaws, oranges, mangos, and vegetables.

Helping in Times of Need:
During the recent pandemic, our churches were restricted from meeting as a congregation, but our pastors and poverty solutions managers made sure people were not suffering. They went out and visited the families, single moms, and widows. They brought food and ministered to them.

Our Ministry
The brick machine is used to build projects, such as water tanks, school buildings, and the new medical center. All the workers belong to the church; they earn a wage and support their church and families.

Thank you to our partners who donate through our online poverty solutions gift catalog. Our Ministry is transforming the community and helping families lift themselves out of poverty.

Ezra is the lead welder; he has two interns who will become welders and have a better opportunity to get jobs.

Richard visits families that have received piglets; he makes sure that the animals are growing healthy. He spends time ministering to the families and helping them find solutions to any issues they might have. Pastor Onesimus occasionally visits families to make sure our managers are taking care of them.

Richard and John oversee the garden, vegetables, and fruit trees as well. They were trained by a retired farmer from California, U.S.A. They learned the best methods of how to water and maintain the different types of agriculture. Local village volunteers also visit the surrounding areas and help cultivate the grounds. In return, they get to keep the gardening tools for their gardens.

Mountains Move
During these trying times, our pastors are diligently ministering to the needy in their communities. The demonstration of their faith in action to the impoverished and helpless has a dramatic influence on the lives of people watching. Myanmar pastors are delivering some rice, some vegetables and, cooking oil. These people are delighted, says our Field Director, because they did not receive any help from the government or other organizations. The distribution of the gifts has caused people to give praise to God almighty who created everything. They know the pastors live very meager, the people see our pastors living without much themselves, and yet they are giving these gifts to them.

We proclaim the gospel everywhere we go. That is our highest priority in ministry. Since the very beginning of the church, the Apostles gave us the example to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet.

Healing Grace Medical Center

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 4:10
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus, from Healing Grace Medical Centre Fraternity. We thank our Lord for the provisions you are rendering to us for the good motives in the community. We truly appreciate you. May the Lord God bless you abundantly.
The medical center has reached and treated people with the screening and treatment of diabetic clients, hypertensive clients, and urinary tract infection clients. We even have family planning services for women of reproductive age.
We screened and treated 209 patients (90 males, 119 females). When the day was too big for us, we managed to get some volunteers who helped us to treat these people and finish in time. We first begin with educating the clients on the prevention of both communicable and non-communicable diseases.
For family planning, we were able to help ten females of reproductive age.
Prayer Requests for the Medical Center:
- For a means of transportation for the patients. Some have had to remain at home without being treated because they could not reach the Medical Center.
- The lack of scan services has affected the quality of health care we can give to our clients. Sometimes we end up having to refer them.

Healing Grace Medical staff see thirty to fifty patients regularly throughout the week. There is a wholeness to how the Scriptures bring new life to everyone touched by church members’ obedience. They turn away from the darkness and walk in truth and light. They no longer seek the input of witchdoctors but instead trust the doctor at the Medical Center. This is a vital ministry to assist the pastors and the churches to completely transform their communities.

Our maternity ward is a blessing to the women who deliver their babies in a safe, sterile, and healthy environment. Patience, one of the Healing Grace midwives is holding the firstborn twins after a normal delivery at the Maternity ward. Prior to having a maternity ward, the poor women gave birth on the dirt floor of their stick and mud house often without any trained midwife to assist them.
Because of generous donations, our doctors and nurses are able to go into the rural villages and diagnose illnesses among people who would never visit a medical center because they are so poor. Here a nurse is testing the blood pressure of a patient outside her home during an outreach. The doctors frequently find people suffering from diabetes, malaria, typhoid, and other diseases. Now, these people are treated and find a whole new joy in living.

- Pray for our medical staff that they would stay healthy during their visits.
- Pray for the people they encounter and that they would have the wisdom to treat them.
- Pray for the evangelism team who share the gospel of salvation.
Thanks to our generous partners, including — Kenyon Companies, Help from Above, and Cup of Water — The Property was purchased, the buildings are finished, and the staff is in place. We still need to subsidize the salary of the staff so our medical center can provide treatment even to the poorest members of the villages. Your Donations Can Make a Difference.
The Medical Center will provide care to the people in all the surrounding villages. Women will be able to give birth in a clean and sterile place without having to drive hours to the nearest clinic. Since the grand opening in November 2019, patients have been coming through for care.
How Your Donation Will Help
Some members of the community are able to pay a fee for the medical care they receive, others are so poor they would not have in the past received any medical care for their wounds or infections. Lack of treatment would have caused great suffering and in some cases an easily avoidable death. Your donations help the medical team provide for those impoverished people too poor to pay any fee. The church leaders of God’s Embassy Ministry consult with the Administrative Team to help discern members of the community who need assistance. The Fellowship group leaders and the pastors of our local churches know who is truly poor. The ministry cooperation provides wonderful teamwork ensuring the resources are used with wisdom to help the needy. Additionally, our faculty at the elementary school can now refer students who appear to have infections to the medical center.
Partnership in Ministry at Work
We had a patient from our Graceland Elementary School who appeared to have extreme pain in her foot. She was transported to HGMC and was greeted by a nurse. Dr. Emmanuel examined her foot and determined what treatment was necessary. Allen, the child had to get an incision so that they could remove some foreign thorn, other debris, and disinfect the wound. In the past, before the Healing Grace Medical Center was open, a student like Allen would just suffer through the pain and may not have received any treatment. Many people die from Tetanus infection in this area, we would like to arrange tetanus vaccinations for all the children.

Allen will come back to the center for bandage changing for the next five days. Dr. Emmanual and the nurses can ensure that the wound heals properly and Allen’s infection is treated and completely healed. In conjunction with the treatment, through Graceland school and our gift catalog donations, Allen will be provided a pair of shoes.
The Team at Healing Grace Medical Center

Meet our Medical Team.
Pastoral Administrator Robinson Kwesiga leads the team with Dr. Emmanuel.
We have a midwife, nurses, a lab technician and a financial registrar on-site.
You can be a partner with our medical ministry by donating towards medical supplies and medication. Your partnership is how we are able to provide medical treatment to the weakest members of the community who otherwise could not afford any medical treatment. Our church leaders coordinate with the medical center to advise and recommend who is poor in the community.
And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
Matthew 25:40

Many Patients are Coming Through Every Day

Pray for our medical team as they administer tests for malaria and typhoid. Treatment is now available, and with your prayers, God will continue to provide both the tests and the medicines for common infections. We also have some larger medical equipment items we are praying for the funding to receive. One of these is an Ultra-Sound Scanner for approximately $8,000 and a Refrigerator designed to store Vaccines for roughly $3,500, or a portable Xray machine for approximately $5,500.
