God has delivered Daphine, twenty-four years of age, and a daughter to Turyahikayo, aged eighty-four. When we met Daphine, she was demon-possessed which resulted in madness and a lunatic condition. Her parents had taken her to many witch doctors because she was not getting better, and they were told by the witch doctors to tie her with handcuffs. But because the parents could not afford handcuffs because they had spent what they had to pay the witch doctors, they tied her with ropes. When we visited their home and shared the gospel with them, we prayed with them and the Lord set Daphine free from the demon oppression. The following Sunday she came to church and gave her life to Christ. We glorify God that He is still in the business of setting people free from evil bondage through Jesus Christ.
- We thank God for helping us get a place to meet as a church. We trust that God will enable us to buy this land as it is in a good location for the church.
- We thank God that we have built a church structure from the contributions of the saints. The community is able to see that we have come to stay through the building of this structure. They have believed in the message we are preaching, and we are growing in number with forty adult members of our congregation.
- We have twenty children in the Sunday school, and we are convinced that many more children will continue to join us as we minister to their lives with the good news.
- Our church desires to build a school structure where we can have Sunday school for the children and teach them the Bible separately.
- We are praying that God will enable us to construct a permanent church structure and have a kindergarten for children in the community.

We have a church worship team with eight members so far; they meet every Saturday at three p.m. Their time consists of sharing the Word of God, praying, learning new songs, practicing and rehearsing songs, and preparing to lead worship in church services.
We also have a Sunday school choir with twelve children, and they meet every Friday evening for practice.
The men have formed a savings association that keeps them busy and every Sunday they save two thousand shillings (53 US cents) per person. There are even non-church members registered in this association, in that way they come to the church, and we pray that as they keep coming to church, they will eventually join us and hear the gospel and the Word of God.
Loydah is twenty-five and married to Daniel with two children. They live in Kimbarama cell, we met her during our home visits, and we shared the Word of God with her. Loydah was touched and promised to come to church. She later did and after hearing the message, she gave her life to Christ Jesus. Since she surrendered to Christ, she has been attending the church with us and has now joined the worship team. She is a committed member of the team.

We reach the community through open-air crusades. We held one in Rushaka Trading Center and most of the church members were involved. We bless the Lord because four people gave their lives to Christ, and two out of the found have joined our church.
We do home visits and continue to follow up with those who attended the crusade. We invited them to join us in our home fellowship. This month we visited eight homes and preached the gospel to twenty-three men and thirty-three women. We are doing community fellowship and currently, we have two fellowships that are meeting regularly.
The Testimony of Pastor Deuse
I was suffering from a demonic attack. I had begun suffering from a mental disorder at twenty-eight years of age and was going mad. By then, I was already married with three children. Finally, my parents and my wife tried to find a cure by consulting witch doctors in our region, but the situation worsened.
Finally, my wife and parents gave up looking for a solution, and I was abandoned at home. Out of that desperate situation, I was led to attend a church where they shared the gospel and prayed for me. That is how I received my deliverance from the demonic attacks. After that, I gave my life to Christ, got involved in ministry activities at church, and took on ministerial responsibilities. Now I am living in Nyamirama with my family, sharing the gospel, and starting a church.
I am attending the Uganda Bible College and studying with our God’s Embassy Pastors.
We serve in a predominantly Bakiga community that practices mixed subsistence farming. The dominant religion is a form of Anglicanism or Catholicism that does not believe in a true gospel of faith in Jesus Christ. Those churches require paying quarterly dues to reserve a place in heaven. Some members of the community practice witchcraft secretly. There are also some other cults, like the church of the prophets.
I have a substantial burden in my heart to preach the gospel of salvation to the people in our community, considering the suffering and bondage I was in before I came to know our Lord Jesus Christ. I look around our community and see many people suffering in the darkness under the demonic evil influence of witchcraft and false religious teachers in my community, so my heart goes out to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We are establishing home fellowships and meeting on Sundays in the township’s center.
There is much work to do to establish a church in this area. We are a remote village far from the schools and markets. With the White Fields’ support, I will be able to serve full-time, proclaiming the gospel and teaching young people so that one day they may be able to attend school.
