The intercessory teamwork that you provide by praying for the needs of the pastors we are supporting is important in the overall success of the beginning of the church. The Apostle Paul expressed his sincere desire for the members of the church in Corinth to pray for his ministry far away. He shared, “You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.” (2 Corinthians 1:11 ESV)
God delights when his people come before His Throne of Grace and request his provision through prayer. The result also increases the thanksgivings back to God by the pastors and the people of the churches when they see God’s hand provide in ways they know can only be from Him. Your intercessory prayers result in greater worship to God.
Here are some specific requests that you can pray for now:
Argentina, Pastor Matias:
“Last night in our Bible study, we went through Exodus 25:1-9. What a joy it was to hear some of the new believers share what it means for them to have fellowship with God. One of them was Juan whom I am discipling. Since he came to Christ, he has had to face difficult decisions, which have led him to a place where he has lost relationships with most of the people in his life. He had to finish an ungodly relationship; he had to stop visiting many friends with whom he used to spend the weekends drinking and partying; he began preaching to his Catholic family members who then treated him as a traitor . . .” (Read the current prayer report)
The Middle East, Pastor Maher:
I continue to be amazed at what the Lord is doing in the ministry to the Egyptian laborers. There are about 70 men who attend our meeting weekly, along with five Egyptian families. We just finished a conference for the group that drew about 270 men! The goal was to reach the men who are unable to come to the church house. Many from this group will never be able to attend church regularly. They are laborers who work twelve-hour days, seven days a week. (Read more about the ministry of Pastor Maher)
Myanmar (Burma), Pastor Hlaing:
From July 25 through the first week of August, there was heavy rainfall. The flood covered all of our fields and lands and all the paddy plants were destroyed. The people are very worried and cried because they lost their fields and crops. They are now thinking about restoring the field and planting some crops again. Therefore, they need help. (Read More)
Pastor Khup Gives Praise: The last week of July, we had unusually heavy rains that washed away many bridges. Landslides blocked roads and some areas had flooding. All the crops were destroyed, but the Lord protected all the members from losing their lives and properties. Praise His name. (Read Recent Updates)

Africa, Pastor Onesimus:
When Pastor Steve and James came, we visited Katonya community. Through White Fields’ support, the church has bought the property where we currently host our fellowship. They meet every Wednesday evening and come to God’s Embassy on Sundays. On the day of fellowship, they come first to work around the property. They have already made some seats from timber shelves and sticks. Afterward, they study the Bible. God has been gracious and people are being added to the fellowship each week.
However, the journey is challenging to some of the older men, women, and children, but they still walk all the way to Katobo where God’s Embassy is located. They are praying for the day we shall conduct our first service . . . (Read what God is doing in this new village church
