Serving little ones as a mother is never an easy task in life. Mothers fulfill the incredibly powerful role of nourishing and protecting the infant human life in their bodies until delivering the child at birth. The job is not finished at birth, intense as that process may be. In continuation of that role, mothers raise the children of the next generation. Birth brought the child into a hostile world. A newborn baby is not capable of surviving without a caregiver; God blessed them with a mother. Mothers, including adoptive moms, spend countless sacrificial hours guiding, encouraging and nourishing children into adulthood.

TRANSPORTATION
Our National Pastors travel into the remote villages and mountain areas to reach people that are otherwise cutoff from civilization. The roads are often just dirt; created by the wearing down of walkers and then the occasional vehicle. In order to proclaim the gospel and bring the Good News of faith in Jesus Christ – the pastors need a way to travel to these places.

White Fields set up this transportation fund specifically to help with the various projects that will provide transportation for our pastors and ministry teams

In addition to the motorbikes, Whitefields provides pastors with safety gear. Roads are often rocky, and traffic is less organized than on industrial streets, so we give the pastors equipment to ride safely.

We want to provide
All Wheel Drive Vehicle

We also have teams that travel to visit the church sites. Sometimes they bring evangelists, musicians, and other ministers to give services for a weekend or short time. The teams that travel, need more than a motorbike so we will provide a van for bringing the group.

You can help us provide transportation so the pastors can reach more people with the gospel. We also give safety helmets for all riders. Visit our Transportation Store and choose how to give.
Every donation helps us provide transportation to get the pastors into more homes to visit the needy.
The roads can be long and the people far away. But when God opens a door and people want to hear the gospel, our pastors will travel as far as they need to proclaim the Good News.
Pray for their safety and that God will provide the vehicles to bring the gospel to every neighborhood in the country.

We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God.

The gospel is only good news if it gets there in time.

Real Hope Flickers
The smile of a destitute woman, unable to feed her small children, captures the emotion of hope breaking through the despair when servants of the Lord arrive with food.
Total desperation is rarely felt in our daily lives here in North America. Even when one region of our community is hit with a fire or terrible storm, somewhere else nearby has supplies and is readily available to provide relief. Not so in Africa. Especially not among the poorest of the poor and outcast people of the rural villages.
Weak Made Strong
There is power in the testimony of a child who has believed in the name of Jesus. I’m amazed at times at how God will work through the faith of a child and lead them to speak with clarity and boldness about the faith they have in Jesus. We should never underestimate the potential results in a ministry to children. The effort to bring them the gospel will produce tremendous rewards.
Children are like sponges absorbing everything around them and learning from the experiences they encounter. But, they are often neglected by “important” people because they are small seemingly insignificant and not able to accomplish great things. Those “important” people may assume that children do not possess significant money and power. Jesus rebuked his disciples when they treated the children as unimportant. “And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them. – Mark 10:13-16

Break Down Barriers
Many barriers are broken down when the gospel is preached by a pastor who is recognized by the people. The Holy Spirit can use anyone to be a witness, but consider the strength of using an indigenous pastor starting a church among his own people. White Fields Ministry has been supporting, financially and through prayer, the ministry work of national pastors since 1953. We identify pastors who are ready to work full-time starting a new church in an unreached community of their own country. Through this partnership with the missionaries serving cross-culturally, the laborers are multiplied.

As we approach the end of the year, I am amazed at the course of world events. Refugees are fleeing their countries; civil wars are spilling over the borders into confrontations between super-powers, and the global economy continues to fluctuate erratically. But, in the midst of all this—God is at work amongst his people. I read the reports sent by our church planters—that you help support—and there is fantastic news every day.
In the Middle East, Pastor Maher shares that the Egyptian Bible study started by their church has grown from fifteen men to over 80 faithful believers. We are now prayerfully considering whether we can support a full-time pastor to lead this group into establishing a new independent church. Pastor Raed’s church, just one-year-old, has established a school for refugees fleeing Syria. They already have twenty-five first graders. These children are not allowed to attend the public school, so the ministry of this church has a huge impact on these families.
